Clare Clarke
Clare is a person centred counsellor, which means she works alongside clients helping them find ways forward and build trust in themselves. She has a warm empathic approach and provides a non judgemental space for clients with the aim of helping them understand themselves better.
Clare specialises in family relationships and has worked with clients on a variety of topics including issues such as anxiety; depression; self worth and low self esteem issues; bereavement and loss; chronic health conditions and family relationship dynamics.
She is open to working on a variety of topics with clients and offers a free initial telephone contact to enable you to talk about your goals for therapy and ask any questions you may have.
Clare has worked for the NHS in a therapeutic role for 5 years and has been running her own private counselling practice since 2023.
She previously worked as a volunteer counsellor at both Mind and Off the Record in Norwich for a total of over 5 years and also worked as a counsellor in a local hospice setting.
She is a BACP Accredited counsellor and is also qualified to supervise other counsellors.
Clare has received positive feedback from many of her previous clients and has been commended for her ability to understand what clients are experiencing in that moment.
Days in/Treatment length:
Clare offers sessions at Saxon Wellbeing Monday to Friday evenings (times vary) also offers daytime sessions on Mondays and Tuesdays. Sessions are 50 minutes in length (a therapeutic hour).
Treatments offered:
Clare offers person centred counselling sessions, which can be flexible; weekly, fortnightly or more ad hoc in booking. She can work with clients for as long as they would like.
