Well-being Tips - Staying Active at Home

With Autumn around the corner try staying active indoors to keep on top of your health and well-being. Staying active can be both fun and beneficial for your health. Here are some great ways to keep moving without leaving the house:

Yoga or Pilates: These are excellent indoor activities that improve flexibility, strength, and balance. There are many free resources online to guide you through sessions of varying lengths and difficulties.

Standing desk: Try converting your working from home station to a standing desk. A standing desk can be a great tool to help you stay active indoors, especially if you spend a lot of time working or studying at a desk.

Home Workouts: Follow workout videos online or use fitness apps that offer a variety of exercises, including cardio, strength training, yoga, and pilates. You don’t need any equipment to get started—bodyweight exercises like push-ups, squats, and lunges can be very effective.

Dance: Dancing is a great way to stay active and have fun! Put on your favourite music or follow a dance workout online to get your heart pumping and burn some calories.

Stairs Workout: If you have stairs at home, use them to your advantage. Walking or running up and down the stairs is a great way to get your heart rate up and build leg strength.
